Burpee Museum of Natural History

Last month we took a trip to the Chicago area (Dekalb, IL) so that Nicole could receive training on the writing/reading curriculum for Micah. So Nicole had to sit in class all day for two days while the kids and I went on day trips.

The first day we went to Rockford to Burpee Museum of Natural History. This was a decent museum that houses the renowned juvenile T-Rex, Jane. That was about all there was for that day. After lunch at Subway in Rockford and sitting at the hotel for a bit we picked up Nicole and ventured into downtown Chicago.
