France Reconnaissance Trip - Cherbourg Area Photos

These first pictures are of the area around the hotel in a town called Saint-Germain des Vaux. I could almost reach both walls of the city streets. Needless to say these are not meant to be two way streets. They may not even be one way for some cars.

In the picture taken from the top of the tower you can see the AREVA NC La Hague plant in the background.

The restaurant shown below is called Le Moulin à Vent (or The Windmill). It is like a 5 star restaurant with some pretty good food. Nicole didn't like it as much as I did.


















These pictures were taken around the city of Cherbourg. The first is the statue of Napoleon and the second is of the church near it.
